Patrons desiring materials that are not part of the RCPL collection may request those materials from other libraries, through RCPL, via interlibrary loan.

There is no charge for an interlibrary loan but patrons may still be charged when requesting photocopies of materials.

Patrons will be will contacted by RCPL when their materials arrive at the library.

To make an interlibrary loan request, please browse the RCPL Catalog for your desired materials. If they are not listed in the Library’s collection, you can request them via interlibrary loan by calling RCPL at 606-784-7137 or by filling out the form below.

Please Note: Libraries will not loan genealogy items, best sellers, or new items through interlibrary loan. Patrons requesting an interlibrary loan must have a Rowan County Public Library card (in good standing) prior to completing this form.
